Job Description

At ForceMetrics, we are redefining how public safety and government agencies harness data to build safer, stronger communities. Our mission is clear: empower decision-makers with the right information at the right time—helping first responders, analysts, and officials make faster, smarter choices that benefit the public. We’re searching for a driven Product Manager who will play a pivotal role in bringing this vision to life.

Imagine streamlining data exploration and workflows from outdated government systems and delivering critical insights in real time—that’s what we do every day. ForceMetrics transforms raw data into actionable intelligence, giving responders the power to act decisively and confidently when it matters most.

We’re seeking a mission-driven, entrepreneurial Product Manager to help shape the future of our platform and scale it from Series A through the next phase of growth. This is a player-coach role — ideal for someone who thrives as an individual contributor and is eager to roll up their sleeves to deliver meaningful outcomes. You’ll work alongside cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into product impact and help define the long-term product vision.

HOW YOU WILL HAVE AN IMPACT

  • Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Go-To-Market teams to shape and execute the product roadmap.
  • Translate product strategy into clear user stories and detailed requirements that deliver customer value.
  • Take features from zero to one, including ideation, research, development, and successful launch.
  • Enable go-to-market readiness through collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
  • Support the strategic growth of the product while operating independently and owning initiatives end-to-end.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Partner with product and leadership teams to help define the product roadmap and prioritize impactful initiatives.
  • Write user stories and functional specs based on customer and stakeholder feedback.
  • Run discovery sessions, conduct user interviews, and review customer feedback to validate product direction.
  • Own product development cycles and collaborate with Engineering on timelines and deliverables.
  • Communicate product vision and updates through wireframes, presentations, and internal documentation.
  • Track key product metrics and leverage data to improve adoption, engagement, and outcomes.
  • Coordinate launches with internal stakeholders and ensure readiness across GTM functions.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer within cross-functional teams.

Requirements

WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT

  • Law Enforcement & Technical experience: 4+ years of SaaS experience as a Product Manager, ideally in a technical Law Enforcement, Public Safety or data-driven product environment.
  • Startup experience: Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup where ambiguity is expected — and where you've thrived.
  • Small team success: Background in working on small, cross-functional product teams and excitement about scaling alongside them.
  • Hands-on mindset: You’re not seeking to manage a team — you’re eager to contribute directly alongside your teammates and lead by example.
  • End-to-end expertise: You’ve conducted research, built requirements, and successfully executed and marketed products.
  • Exceptional communication: You can clearly articulate product vision, priorities, and requirements to diverse audiences, from technical teams to leadership.
  • Problem-solving skills: Comfortable navigating ambiguity, prioritizing ruthlessly, and using creative problem-solving to move initiatives forward.
  • Data-driven decision-making: You know how to analyze data to inform decisions and drive product improvements.
  • Agile product development: Strong familiarity with agile methodologies, sprint planning, and iterative product delivery cycles.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder.
  • Willing to undergo background checks due to the sensitive nature of our work with public safety organizations.
  • Willing to take and pass a drug test.

Benefits

WHAT WE CAN OFFER

  • A strong sense of mission for impacting real communities and solving complex real-world problems
  • Work alongside other top talent in a rewarding and enjoyable culture
  • Competitive salary + equity (seed-stage)
  • Medical, HSA, Dental, Vision, Life insurance & 401
  • 100% Remote
  • Standard holidays and paid time off
  • Salary range for this position is: $105K to $145K + DOE
