An Insight Global client in the Financial Services industry is looking for a Slack Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Scottsdale, AZ 85054. The client is looking for a Slack Infrastructure Engineer who will be performing all core technical aspects to support infrastructure implementations, deployments, and technologies related to the collaborative platform, Slack. As a Slack Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the infrastructure of the client's Slack environment. This includes understanding the software, architecture, authentication mechanisms, add-ons, and integrations. The responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to:

• Manage and maintain Slack's infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Understand Slack's software and architecture to optimize performance and scalability.
• Implement and manage authentication mechanisms and security features within the Slack environment.
• Oversee the integration of add-ons and plugins to enhance Slack's functionality.

Ensure seamless integration of Slack with other systems and applications.

• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various business units and their Slack usage.
• Partner with Slack the vendor to rollout and resolve issues as identified related to new and upgraded capabilities.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Any previous experience within the Financial Services industry.
• Any previous Slack certifications.
• Experience with proxy, firewall, or routing issues.
• Knowledge of SaaS security best practices.
• 3+ years of Infrastructure experience, primarily with the collaborative platform, Slack.
• Strong troubleshooting and support experience within Slack.
• Experience working with and supporting 3rd party tools, collaboration session experience preferred (MS Teams, Webex, etc.)
• Experience troubleshoot and managing user access.
• Knowledge of infrastructure and server theories, routing principles, and concepts.
• Experience working directly with Active Directory and/or Okta, or another similar IdP (Identity Provider)
• Experience with Service Now and/or anther ticketing system.
• Experience monitoring and troubleshooting SaaS Applications.
• Experience with deploying and testing a product's security controls.
• Customer service mentality - experience and willingness to work directly with end users. Insight Global
