As we expand our operations, we are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field execution and ensure seamless, high-quality delivery of our commercial projects.

The Role
As a Superintendent at Reliance Contracting, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on-site across a range of commercial construction projects. Successful outcomes are achieved by your coordination with Project Managers, subcontractors, clients, and vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to our high standards.

You’re a great fit if you have

• 3+ years of experience (preferred) as a Superintendent in commercial construction
• Strong background in retail, restaurant, tenant improvement, or ground-up projects
• Solid understanding of construction scheduling, sequencing, and jobsite logistics
• Effective leadership and communication skills to lead teams and coordinate trades
• Ability to travel to job sites throughout South Carolina and surrounding states
• Mindset of a team player who enjoys being part of progress, owning situations and finding solutions
• Valid Driver’s License

Key Responsibilities and Results

• Oversee on-site construction activities from start to finish
• Lead and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site crews
• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and company protocols
• Maintain and update project schedules, site logs, and daily reports
• Conduct site walkthroughs to monitor quality and resolve field issues
• Review and interpret construction documents, plans, and scopes of work
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Clients for successful execution
