Our stunning Highland Glen community in Highland, UT, is hiring a Caregiver to join our incredible team of Senior Living Warriors! Shift: Part-Time - Saturday and Sunday - 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM. The Caregiver is responsible for assisting residents in their Daily Living Activities including, but not limited to: bathing, grooming, personal and dental hygiene, transportation to meals and activities, bowel and bladder functions, etc., maintaining resident dignity and respect with superior customer service and in accordance with all policies, procedures, regulations and guidelines. Essential Job Duties include responding to resident needs promptly and kindly, reading and following care plans, assisting residents in daily living activities, providing assistance at mealtime, transporting residents, performing safety checks, encouraging participation in activities, cleaning and laundry, managing oxygen tanks, charting and documenting information, responding to resident alerts, and ensuring resident safety and comfort. Non-Essential Duties include displaying a positive and professional image, encouraging teamwork, demonstrating effective time management, displaying tact and friendliness, adhering to policies, and performing other duties as assigned. Requirements include age 18 or over or proper work permit, high school diploma or equivalent, Nurses Aid certification preferred, current first aid certification, background clearances, health screening and negative TB test, caregiving experience preferred but training available, ability to read and speak English, ability to follow directions, ability to interact effectively with diverse people, and meeting state regulatory requirements. Physical demands include mobility, ability to kneel, squat, reach overhead, bend, lift 40+ pounds, and push 150 pounds unassisted.
