Job Description
the Drop C Studios is an emerging online music instruction platform that is a first of its kind. We offer to our students a hybrid learning environment where they have access to online courses, weekly live streams, a community for engagement with other students, and access to instructors for real-time requests.
Part of what makes us unique is our business model. We offer a unique experience for students in how they learn, but we also offer a unique method of earning an income for instructors that work with us. Every course is their instructor's own business. We provide the platform, training, onboarding, marketing, and website management; you just have to provide your course(s) and knowledge. This means that there is virtually no limit to the number of students you can have and same goes for the income.
We are looking for music instructors of all genres and instruments to create their own online courses (pre-recorded video lessons) to host on our platform. Courses can be anything from a single 40-60 minute video or as extensive as a 60 part series (you do not need to edit your videos, we can merge audio and video for you).
There is no prior experience in course building required, however ideal candidates:
- Should be comfortable recording videos of themselves teaching a course.
- Should be able to host at least one live stream per week where students can join to learn something new and ask questions on course material.
- Should be able to handle community engagement/requests made by students throughout the week.
- Should have some level of social media following. (The higher the better!)
- Should be willing to record a brief promotional ad for their course.
Instructors taken on to join the platform will receive a majority 70% of profits made on any course they make.
