Requirements:
● Typing speed: 40 WPM
● Administrative experience, 1 year (Preferred)
● Medical Assistant, 1 year (Preferred)
● Orthopedic experience is recommended but not required
● Familiar with Electronic Medical Record System (OfficeAlly preferred but not required)
Education:
● High school or equivalent (Preferred)
● Bachelor’s (Preferred)
● Medical Assistant Certification (Required)
Job Description:
If you want to work with a great group of people, we invite you to join us in promoting the
health of our patients. Workload is 80% administrative and 20% clinical. The Medical
Assistant will provide superb patient care and physician support, obtain authorizations, relay
advice/instructions with accuracy, work well with the team, and be meticulous about
attendance, reliability, and patient care follow-up.
Our office is looking for a team player and excellent communicator. Someone who is a fast
learner and who can adapt to our systems quickly & seamlessly. Personal Injury experience
is helpful, but not mandatory.
Core Job Duties (but not limited to):
● Case management: send out referrals for PT/Chiro, MRIs, specialty doctors, DME
● Take medical history of patient
● Assist doctor with various injections
● Assist in cast application and removal, dressing changes, suture removals
● Handle telephone calls, schedule patients for appointments, and confirming
appointments
● Plan team builder events, lunches with representatives, team events
● Obtain authorizations
Job Type: Full-Time
