About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Dermatology Physician Assistant for a 55-day locum tenens assignment at a Clinic in California. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dermatological care, specializing in B&B Dermatology cases, starting 05/19/2025. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule, with a preference for full-time Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, but part-time arrangements are also possible. The position requires proficiency in Nextgen software and an active California PA license. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide essential dermatological care while enjoying the benefits of a locum tenens position, with potential for extension.

Provider Type Needed: Physician Assistant (Dermatology)

Schedule: Ideally Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (part-time options available)

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform B&B Dermatology procedures and treatments
• Conduct comprehensive dermatological examinations and consultations
• Diagnose and treat various skin conditions and diseases
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
• Perform skin biopsies and other diagnostic procedures as needed
• Utilize Nextgen software for patient management and record-keeping
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure efficient operations
• Provide patient education on skin care and disease prevention
• Stay updated on the latest dermatological treatments and technologies

Additional Information:

• Active California PA license required
• Experience with Nextgen software preferred
• Strong clinical skills in B&B Dermatology
• Excellent communication skills for patient interactions
