JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Energy Technical Consulting (Life Cycle Assessment Specialist) in the Energy, Science, and Technology Research Industry Sector focusing on Business Process Solutions for clients such as Department of Energy (DOE | OP) | DOE Office of Policy (OP) Generally Located In CONUS - Washington DC and across the Mid Atlantic Region (Of Country/World).

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Conducts life cycle assessments to evaluate energy technologies and their environmental footprints. Align with Modeling Support Functional Area initiatives as a Life Cycle Assessment Specialist that Conducts life cycle assessments to evaluate the environmental impacts of energy technologies and projects. Provide Public Comment Review, Data Analysis, Modeling, Evaluation, Mapping, Forecasting And Report Development, Data Tracking Tools, Workforce Policy Analysis And Convening, as well as Energy Market Economic And Regulatory Analysis Technical Consulting Services and support for The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Policy (OP). These services enable mission objectives involved with renewable energy, fossil fuels, nuclear energy, hydrogen, biofuels, carbon capture, energy storage, grid modernization, energy efficiency, and sustainable infrastructure technologies. Life Cycle Assessment Specialist is responsible for key functions such as developing analyses, supporting initiatives, and ensuring alignment with project objectives. The role of Lifecycle Assessment Specialist involves supporting DOE initiatives with analysis, collaboration, and strategic implementation. Design and execute models for energy systems, technologies, and policies to provide actionable insights. Qualifications Desired Qualifications For Life Cycle Assessment Specialist | Modeling Support [DOEOP038043] Candidates: Qualified candidates for Life Cycle Assessment Specialist must possess expertise in their respective field, with experience in energy, policy, and technical consulting. Qualified candidates for Lifecycle Assessment Specialist must possess domain expertise, technical proficiency, and experience in related fields. Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications Candidates for Building Energy Demand Modeler typically require a Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., energy, environmental science, policy, or engineering) and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience. Skills Required Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools. Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills for effective team management. Outstanding time management and prioritization abilities to meet project milestones. Adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities. Ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail. Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills. Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Competencies Required Competencies for Building Energy Demand Modeler include problem-solving ability, adaptability, teamwork, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of energy sector operations.
