ReGenesis Health Care is a growing not-for-profit Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). ReGenesis Health Care serves thousands of patients across Spartanburg, Cherokee, and Union Counties in SC. We are seeking an IT Director to lead our health IT strategy, oversee infrastructure, and ensure secure, high-performance systems across our multi-site network.


Duties and Responsibilities :

• Lead the strategic vision for all IT operations, systems, and services.
• Oversee our EHR and clinical technologies to enhance patient care.
• Drive innovation in cybersecurity, telehealth, and digital tools.
• Develop a strong in-house IT team and manage vendor relationships.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (HIPAA, HITECH, etc.) and data integrity.
• Engage in ongoing communication with department leaders to identify products and services that can improve patient care, operational efficiency, and organizational initiatives.
• Direct day-to-day IT operations, delivering scalable solutions and service excellence to users.
• Advise executive leadership on emerging technologies, cybersecurity trends, and operational efficiencies.
• Manage and monitor data backups, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity procedures.

Requirements

•Associate's degree in computer science/information technology; bachelor's degree preferred.,

•Minimum of 10-12 years of progressive IT experience, preferably in a hospital/health care system, including 5 years or more in a management or director role.

•Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure, cybersecurity, network, and helpdesk operations.

•Knowledge of medical operations and challenges is highly desirable.

•Strong technical base in IT (networking, storage, and system administration.

•Expertise in IT systems, networks, and Microsoft platforms, including Windows Server and Microsoft 365.

•Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, CompTIA Security+, or similar. ReGenesis Health Care
