Days: Mon - Fri.

Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM.

Compensation: $100,000 to $160,000 per Year.

Additional Benefits: PTO, insurance, 401(k).

Start Date: 6/23/2025.

A high-profile household in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced House Manager to oversee the daily operations of a private residences. Duties include staff supervision, managing schedules, coordinating vendors, handling travel and events, and maintaining household organization. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, discreet, tech-savvy, and experienced in managing staff and household systems.

Main Work Duties: 

• Oversee daily operations of the home.
• Create and maintain household schedules and calendars.
• Supervise and coordinate staff (housekeepers, nannies, chefs, etc.).
• Train and onboard new domestic staff.
• Monitor inventory and order household supplies.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the home.
• Oversee home improvement or renovation projects.
• Schedule appointments and manage service providers.
• Run errands (shopping, dry cleaning, etc.).
• Handle travel arrangements for principals and guests.
• Plan and assist with events or dinner parties.
• Manage guest accommodations and hospitality.
• Liaise with family members and act as a point of contact.

Qualifications: 

• Proven experience in household management or a similar role.
• Able to clearly communicate with principals, staff, vendors, and guests.
• Patience.
• Self-starter.
• Capable of supervising and motivating household staff while maintaining harmony.
• College education.
• Proficiency in technology.
• Can manage multiple tasks, schedules, and household systems efficiently.
• Handles sensitive information and personal matters with absolute confidentiality.
• Prioritizes tasks effectively to ensure smooth household operations.
• Longevity in previous roles.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive as required.

The Perfect Candidate: 

Experience working with elderly clients and first aid would be a plus. Must be local to DC/Maryland/Virginia.
