Passionate about people and creating unforgettable experiences, you will be an essential part of our Events team to help deliver immersive events for thousands of Warhammer fans across North America. From major pop culture conventions like New York Comic Con and Gen Con, to dedicated Warhammer-run events such as the Warhammer Open and the Grand Narrative, we are looking for the enthusiasm and dedication of our event staff to truly make a difference by contributing to the successful execution of every world-class Warhammer event. Taking direction from the wider Global Events team, this hands-on role will have you supporting with everything from the setup and breakdown of displays, activations, and event spaces to moving products, stock, and materials. This will include physical lifting, placing shelving, organising stock, and ensuring everything is in place ahead of each show. You may also have the opportunity to participate in some of our event operations, which include judging organised Warhammer events, running Warhammer gaming and painting demonstrations, and helping deliver exceptional retail experiences at our sales booth. The ideal person is someone who understands no task is too big or too small, can stay calm and positive under pressure, and is committed to creating a warm, inclusive environment where hobbyists of all experience levels feel welcome. Driven and flexible, you’ll take on physically demanding on-site event work, which will often include overtime. All of our Event Staff are zero-hour employees with no guaranteed weekly hours, but all share a passion for the hobby and the commitment to deliver exceptional Warhammer experiences. This role may include occasional at-home work, such as terrain building or miniature assembly, but this again is not guaranteed. If you are someone who thrives in environments that demand resilience, decisiveness, and the courage to hold firm under pressure and ensure everything runs smoothly no matter what obstacles come their way, then we want you at our next event! Candidates from anywhere in the United States are eligible to apply, although the ideal candidates will be within daily driving distance of Milwaukee, WI, Tacoma, WA, Indianapolis, IN, New York, NY, or Atlanta, GA. Pay: This is an hourly position paying the minimum wage applicable in the state where you reside or where the event takes place; in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local wage laws.
