About the Role
The Company is seeking a Director of Ecommerce Marketplaces to spearhead the growth of its Amazon and Walmart businesses. This pivotal role involves developing and implementing marketplace strategies, optimizing product listings, and leading brand-building initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a $10M+ marketplace business, with a focus on unlocking catalog value, driving sales growth, and improving profitability. The role demands a leader with a strong background in ecommerce, particularly in marketplace management, and a proven track record in brand building and growth. The Director will be expected to think like an owner, monitor the P&L, and make data-driven decisions to scale the business. Applicants for the Director of Ecommerce Marketplaces position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business, ecommerce, or a related field, with at least 3 years' of experience in managing marketplaces. The role requires expertise in Amazon and/or Walmart platforms, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in ecommerce analytics tools. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ecommerce SEO, PPC, and content strategies, and be adept at working with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of the marketplace business. Responsibilities also include inventory and supply chain coordination, as well as overseeing and optimizing advertising campaigns.
